The SILICONE REPAIR TAPE is free of residue and seals up air, pressure, and water leaks in a matter of seconds. Simply stretch the tape around the leak with an overlap, just like you would any other adhesive tape. It is excellent for fast and durable line and cable repairs, bundling, as a cable/plug and metal corrosion protection as well as a grip band for tools. The transparent version is also suitable for labeling.
The SILICONE REPAIR TAPE is resistant to UV-rays, oils, light acids, and gasoline. This feature makes it ideally suitable to insulate and repair fuel lines as well as water and cooling hoses - e.g. if your car breaks down.
For pneumatic and hydraulic hoses we recommend that you slightly rough up the surface around the damaged area. To ensure good adhesion, keep the repair tape taught while wrapping it around the damaged area..
