- To count cycles

For automated manufacturing, e.g. stamping or plastic extrusion, automatic lubrication of the tool is essential. Here we recommend the counter unit that controls the infeed of lubricant on a time or cyclical basis.

How it works:
The counter unit functions as an extension to the blow unit. It is equipped with a counter (see photo), allowing adjustment of the cycle sequence from 1 to 99.
A non-contact inductive switch (please order separately – see below) reports the stroke movement or the machine cycle to the counter unit. If the counter unit is e.g. preset to 19, the pressure regulator valve will only open up the pressure valve and start the spraying process after the inductive switch has been activated 19 times. The spraying process can be triggered at the beginning or at the end of the preset working cycle, e.g. when an extruded plastic part has been removed from the die. As on the automatic blower unit the pause and impulse time can be adjusted with the two switches next to the controllers. Thus, the beginning and the duration of spraying is variable. During the spraying process the regulator valve is open. An atomizer can be connected to the valve (on request).
