Function: Air escapes over the entire length of the air curtain through a 0.05 mm thin slit at almost the speed of sound. This entrains ambient air, creating an air curtain consisting of approx. 25 times the volume of air used.
Application: Air curtains are used where large quantities of chips, dirt, water or oil need to be removed with minimal compressed air consumption, or where products need to be cooled over a large area by a jet of air.
