When compressed air relaxes, it hisses. The noise can reach up to 100 dB and is harmful to hearing. The employers' liability insurance association has issued strict regulations in this regard. All the more reason to use quiet air nozzles!
Depending on the pressure, the SO-NW4 can reduce noise by up to 20 dB without any loss of pressure. A special air duct makes better use of the available pressure. The air volume can be regulated by turning the SO-NW4 on the MS-M10x1; this eliminates the need for a throttle valve.
To prevent the noise that is generated when compressed air is discharged, the air jet is directed linearly through 5 outlet holes, resulting in lower sound levels - i.e. less noise.
The SO-RD regulating nozzle is used for liquid media. The amount of liquid can be regulated by turning the SO-RD and can even be switched off completely.
