Quiet air nozzleWhen compressed air relaxes, it hisses. The noise can reach up to 100 dB and is harmful to hearing. The BG has issued strict regulations in this regard. Depending on the pressure, the noise can be reduced by up to 20 dB with the quiet air nozzle, without any loss of pressure. A special air duct makes better use of the available pressure. The nozzle can be regulated via a screw (ESO-RE) (fine thread M12 x 0.75), which eliminates the need for a throttle valve.In order to reduce the noise generated by the discharge of pressurized air, the air jet is directed linearly through the plastic insert (4 - 7 outlet holes), resulting in lower sound levels - i.e. less noise. The various versions (round, flat, transverse and flexible) can be supplied with internal and external threads (order separately) as required. Connection options to metal hoses, blow guns, etc. are possible via the various threaded pieces.Design heat-resistant up to 150 °C.Info: The Sommer quiet air nozzle is the original and we applied for a patent for it back in 1974.
